This is really the best live version of this song. I immediately loved it when I heard this in 1992 in the previews. The final ESC was the performance unfortunately less sparkling and the arrangement less interesting. But still one of my all time favourites.

Hadde ikke trodd at dette skjedde i Lillestrøm da jeg var ung i 1988. Var 9 år den gangen og var opptatt av både Portveien 2 og ungdomsprogrammene som gikk på tv. Jarl Goli var skikkelig populær på denne tiden, og hadde den rette stilen på 80 tallet.

Veldig bra sang som hadde vunnet et annet år, men Ketil Stokkan føres litt bedre. Denne saken er veldig svensk topp aktig og på engelsk. Så "Brandenburger Tor" ble bedre. Han skulle sunget bergensk hele veien så hadde det kanskje gått til topps ! Men hva med hotellet ? Det er tydeligvis filma i en hotell lobby ? Er det Rica Atrium i Aker Brygge? Virker litt provisorisk sted de filmer dette ?

You've got the tape path wrong on the supply side.

I think if it had been performed like this in the actual ESC it would have been in contention for the win. Several things were slightly off on the night, and this arrangement is way better.

A great song - one of my favourites from the first Eurovision I ever saw. Great arrangement as well. As a musician I wonder if (and this is a very geeky question), if you can remember which synths you used on this studio production ? Daniel
